What’s that? My interview? It went well. I think. No, I’m pretty sure it went well. Yeah, I did good. So… it went okay. I hope to hear something from the company by Monday. Or Tuesday. Really, I just hope to hear back from them soon. It’s a completely casual and relaxed environment. The people I met seem cool, nay, normal. I could absolutely see myself working there.
With my jeans and my ironic t-shirts.
With my music and my awesomeness.
With my holidays off and my evenings free.
The more I think about it, the more I want this job. I mean, don’t YOU want a job that involves twitter and facebook and blogging and *memes and *rainbows and *cupcakes and *midgets riding in little cars?
Picked up an extra shift at the mall-job tomorrow. So, you know, $32. Sure, Bank of America, you can destroy my credit because I can’t make the minimum payment. And that’s why I won’t have my own home any time soon. At least the rental company (we rent a house) said they would knock our monthly rent down a couple hundred bones until I got back on my feet. But, of course, they expect all that money paid back the minute second my first paycheck is deposited into my bank account. But ask them to fix the air conditioner and they’ll get around to it in a few weeks.
I’m not complaining… they have every right to kick us out if we can’t make rent. At least they’re trying to help us. And it just may be saving us from moving in with Jessica’s parents.
I think today was good. Errr… great? How ‘bout pretty good? I’m not sure how the guy interviewing me felt. I guess today has the potential to go down in the history books as the day Matt made a good impression on some guy who owns a company and therefore was subsequently offered a job where he was creative and *funny and *witty and *smelled nice and *won prizes just for showing up to work.
This is Day 29, folks. It’s like February during leap year. Fingers crossed.
*may or may not be part of the job
